Pennsylvania releases its 20th gaming annual report

The September 30 publication covers the 2025/26 fiscal year across casino, internet and sports wagering products.

A fiscal-year snapshot

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced its twentieth annual report on September 30, 2026. The publication covers the 2025/26 fiscal year. The announcement describes $7.05 billion in overall gaming revenue and $3.1 billion in tax revenue.

Why the period matters

An annual report should be read as a record of its stated reporting period. It is not a live operator register, a daily revenue dashboard or a forecast for the following year. When comparing totals, keep the product categories and fiscal calendar consistent.

Revenue is also a different measurement from the amount wagered. A large betting handle does not represent the same amount of operator revenue. Adding figures from different definitions can produce an impressive-looking total that has no useful economic meaning.

How readers can use it

Use the report to identify the tables, definitions and regulatory activities behind the headline. For current operator availability, consult the regulator’s current directory separately. For changes over time, compare like-for-like periods and identify whether a product entered or left the reporting set. Casino Education treats the release as a source document, rather than evidence for an individual casino recommendation.
