MGM and BetMGM outline responsible gaming research support
The September release describes funding, employee training and venue messaging; its headline and body give different totals.

Funding and training announced
MGM Resorts and BetMGM’s September 1 release describes support for responsible gaming research and problem gambling organisations. Its headline states $300,000, while the body specifies a combined $320,000 contribution. We retain that distinction rather than silently selecting one amount.
The companies say support includes the International Center for Responsible Gaming, state problem gambling councils and the Evive Foundation. They also report more than 3,000 employees certified through the GameSense Advisor programme and expanded messaging in sports venues.
Announcements are not outcome measurements
A funding commitment, a training count and the display of messages each describe an activity. None alone demonstrates how many people experienced less gambling harm. Evaluating effectiveness would require evidence about use, outcomes and the way those outcomes were measured.
For readers who need help now, a corporate announcement should not replace direct support. Our support page links to current US resources. Account limits and exclusion options should be checked with the specific service and jurisdiction.
The figures here are attributed to the companies’ release. Casino Education has not audited their programme, independently counted trained employees or assessed the effectiveness of the announced contributions.
